The Glenorchy Ice Skating Rink is a northern suburbs institution with the ice-skating rink the only one of its kind in Tasmania.

The building provides a brick structure located just south of the main Glenorchy retail precinct with the main building of approximately 783m2* with ground floor space that houses the ice- skating rink, a small café, storage/repair room, games area and party room.

The apex height of the skating rink is 5.4 metres to the underside of the beam and 4.2 metres to the underside of the beam on the sides.

There is a small wooden grandstand with storage plus machinery shed with roller door.

At the rear is a small plant room and there are five (5) parking spaces at the front.

On a first floor is a separate residential unit comprising four (4) bedrooms, kitchen/dining, lounge room, bathroom/toilet, separate laundry and single car garage.

Access to the upstairs unit is via internal stairs accessed either from the shop, separate front door or internal garage.

The shop and apartment floors are heated.
