Options to further develop site and business
It is the birthplace of the River Torrens, the freshwater tributary key to the establishment of the capital of South Australia, Adelaide. The property was established by the Seppelt family back in 1980 when it was planted to Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Today, the journey continues where the use of sustainable viticulture along with biodynamic and organic techniques are employed to produce wines with a true sense of place. The brand Elysian Springs was established in 2015. The vineyard and cellar door are located in the Adelaide Hills on the outskirts of Mount Pleasant in the Adelaide Hills wine region, approximately 55 kilometres north east of Adelaide.
