Spaces, Tiffany & Co and Kailis Jewellery open in Raine Square

Co-working provider Spaces will open its first West Australian hub in Charter Hall’s $120 million Raine Square precinct, alongside luxury brands Tiffany & Co and Kailis Jewellery’s new stores at the same development.

Spaces will set up on the first and second floors or 3000sq m of the Wentworth Building, also known as the Glass Box building, in the newly redeveloped dining, fashion and entertainment precinct on Murray and William Street.

Owned by co-working giant IWG – which is also Regus’s parent company – Spaces’ expansion to WA is testament to its belief that demand for co-working will continue to grow.

“Enterprises are recognising a shift in attitudes to workplaces from their employees, in particular a rising popularity in flexible working,” IWG country head for Australia Damien Sheehan said.

“Investment in co-working locations provided by Spaces presents a myriad financial and strategic benefits for businesses in Perth, especially those experiencing fast growth.”

Raine Square is Spaces’ fifth centre in Australia. Its first three are in Melbourne and the fourth is scheduled to open in Sydney’s Martin Place next February.

Joining Spaces are Tiffany & Co and Kailis Jewellery, which are relocating from other parts of Perth to take up long-term leases at Raine Square. They will join luxury retailer Louis Vuitton, which announced its tenure at the precinct in April.

“Charter Hall has utilised its in-house development expertise across both the office and retail sectors along with its local asset management team to deliver a more accessible and connected destination that provides multiple benefits, strengthening amenity for Raine Square’s commercial tenants,” Charter Hall managing director David Harrison said.

Raine Square, where redevelopment work started last May, will officially open this Friday.

Constructed by Built, the centre will have 18,000sq m of active retail space, with connections to transport hubs as well as extensive heritage restoration.

Tiffany & Co, Kailis Jewellery and Louis Vuitton are three of the 46 specialty retail outlets. It will be home to Perth CBD’s only cinema, Palace.
