The owner of this high-growth retail furniture business is seeking a new business partner to bring additional expertise and capital into the business in a General Management function, to help it execute on a 3-year plan to become a forecast $9m revenue business by FY2021.
The business already has another (passive) investor who will consider funding a majority of the capital requirements for the next stage of growth, if an active business partner is available to join as a General Manager who has the right skillset to drive the business forward.
The current ownership has deep, senior executive-level experience in the Australian retail furniture industry, and has previously helped other major retailers to launch and grow highly recognisable brands with large store footprints.
This business has identified a gap in the market and is deep into its pilot phase with a working business model that is highly scalable. The business is already generating strong revenue and sales are growing month on month.
The product is of very high quality, on-trend, highly focused, with strong gross profit margins and sourced via a world-class supply chain network.
You will of course have substantial business experience to bring to the table in addition to taking some stake in the business. Particularly favourable will be potential business partners with either logistics or digital marketing experience (or both). This could also be comprised of a small team or partners who wish to join this exciting business.
