They can hit the waters of the southern ocean, wander the coast and explore petrified rainforests full of waterfalls, ferns and crystal clear streams. A favourite is to swim, dive, surf and paddle out in the pristine coastal waters. Take a dip at the beach, climb aboard a surfboard or kayak, and get up close to local seal colonies.
Anglers have plenty on offer too, with a deep-sea fishing adventure at the top of the list. Backpackers walk through the nearby rainforest and wander past plunging waterfalls and lush fern gullies. They can enjoy an exhilarating ride through the ranges on a mountain bike or take a treetop walk along the Otway Fly and get a bird's eye view of the spectacular Otway Ranges. And much, much more. You also will fall in love with Apollo Bay, and love where you work and love where you live.
This freehold is located 1 street back from the main road. Easy walking distance to the shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach. There are 6 units all together, on approx a half acre of land. The Lodge has 1 & 2 Bedroom apartments, with separate Hostel for budget travellers. Apartments are all self contained with lounge/dining area fully equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms (some with spas). All bedding and towels supplied.TV, DVD and Wifi in all. Apartments can cater from 1 to 7 people.
The Lodge hostel has '4 bed' dormitory rooms or family rooms for up to 5 people. All bedding & linen is supplied. The hostel has modern share bathrooms , fully equipped kitchen with spacious lounge/dining area. TV DVD and Wifi all available in lodge hostel. All rooms have heating.
This is not your typical, shabby run down backpackers rooms. For backpackers this is first class amenities. Clean and in excellent condition.
Simple business to run but it still requires good management.
