NEAP (National Educational Advancement Programs) is a privately owned educational publisher and education services provider. The business primarily operates in the Victorian and New South Wales senior secondary school markets.
NEAP was established by the current owner in the late 1980s and has been providing high quality educational resources to both secondary students and teachers for more than 30 years. The business is widely respected within the education sector; primarily in Victoria and New South Wales but also other states throughout Australia.
Through its unique education model, NEAP utilises a network of approximately 100 experienced teachers to produce high quality education resources in the disciplines of business studies, English, mathematics and the sciences. The business has a diversified revenue stream across teacher resources, study guides and programs plus stable cash flow with recurring annuity copyright revenue for works primarily copied within schools. Teachers copy work mainly from NEAP's trial exams and other testing material and continue to do so many years after the initial publication date.
There is significant opportunity to further grow the business with the placement of a sales executive in NSW. NEAP is a Victorian based company with no staff currently located in NSW. Whilst NEAP's teacher resources and study guides are sold in NSW, a significant opportunity exists for incremental sales to be achieved across diagnostic topic tests, trial examinations and study guides plus the implementation of revision lectures currently only held in Victoria.
