The school bus service contract no: 1613 has been owned and run by the current owners since 2002. The current contract expires latter this year and the owners have just been granted a further 10 year contract upon its expiration which will transfer to qualified new owners.
The run currently utilises two buses. The first bus starts at Lune River via Southport and collects students on route to Huonville, while the second bus commences its journey in Dover and collects students for Franklin Primary School and Huonville High School with the reversal of trips in the afternoon returning students to their stops. The buses run on school days only with both buses currently at full capacity. Since purchasing the business in 2002 the amount of students using the bus has increased from 45 students per trip to 120 students per trip.
The sale can include a 57 seater Mercedes Benz bus (2010) with SB400 Custom Coach body and a late model 2015 Hino bus, also a 57 seater with P&D Coach body.
