In 1911, Luke O'Reilly, with his two brothers, and five cousins, came to QLD from the Blue Mountains, taking up Government land selections now known as Lamington National Park. Set on a high plateau, encased by World Heritage Listed Lamington National Park, Luke's Farm was cleared by hand with axe and crosscut saw. This made way for cattle grazing land, and with timber hand-milled, used to build the homestead.
Featuring magnificent views of the Great Dividing Range, Albert and Logan River Valleys, this is a retreat for nature lovers, where cattle graze, wildlife thrives, and the forest and all its wonders beautifully frame the property boundaries.
Lukes Farm is near the Southernmost tip of Lamington Road, just 34*km from the Village of Canungra, on top of the Lamington Plateau just south of the NSW border.
Currently, the property is home to a herd of 80+ Angus Beef cattle who thrive on this wonderful elevated property.
