The primary supply comes from the pristine Waterpark Creek dunal fed catchment north of Yeppoon, a secondary supply comes by pipeline from the Fitzroy River basin (second largest river system catchment in Australia), and the third supply will come from industrial quality treated re-use water immediately available from Council's nearby waste-water treatment plant.
LANDFILL AND WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
Council's Landfill site has an expected 50 year plus life and is within close proximity to The Gateway (opposite side of the Yeppoon-Rockhampton Road).
TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS
The Gateway has immediate access to both the strategic Capricorn Coast to Rockhampton B-double approved transport corridor and a key supply access route to the Shoalwater Bay Army Training Facility. The precinct also has its own established heavy transport and freight facility already strategically located on site.
